What to expect.
No formal qualifications are required for most roles. What we value is commitment, reliability, and care. For specialist roles (legal, medical, accounting) relevant professional background is preferred.
Yes. Digital communications, grant writing, and data analysis roles are fully remote. Field roles require physical presence in UP or HP districts. We make it clear in each role description.
Most roles require 2–4 hours per week. Some are project-based with variable commitment. We never lock anyone into a schedule — tell us what works for you and we'll find the right fit.
Yes. After completing 3 months of active service, volunteers receive a signed letter from the Managing Trustee. After 6 months, a formal Certificate of Volunteering is issued on SKF letterhead.
SKF is a registered Trust (Reg. 903/2025). Volunteer expenses reimbursement is available on request with receipt. For tax-deductible cash donations (once 80G is approved), donors will receive Form 10BE. 80G is currently in process.
Every volunteer receives the monthly field report on the first Sunday of each month — the same report published to all donors and supporters. You'll see exactly where your time went, in photos, numbers, and receipts.
Seva is the act — not the reward.
